Who Was Esther?

Esther is a figure in the Bible. She was a Jewish girl abandoned and then adopted. She was raised by non-family relatives. She was fit for a Hebrew King. Her desire was to be royal and to be God's People. When she became a teenager the King asked for certain women to entertain a possible match by a series of tests. Some may have included etiquette, looks and how she responded to the King! Her adopted parents were not supportive. And didn't get to spend time with her at the palace; in fact, they were banished.

She won the King over and they were happy together. But the people found out that she was actually a Jew by ethnicity--not even raised that way. They murdered her by back stabbing her. He cried for her the rest of his life.
