Finding your spirituality and expressing yourself.
It might be a good project for you do undergo and figure out where and how you want to spend Christmas! Christmas is the celebration of Jesus Christ's birthday--did you know? When he was a two-and-a-half year-old: three wise men: one being from Jamaica, one being from Africa and one being from Sumeria brought Jesus gifts to Bethlehem. The Star of Bethlehem (aka Christmas Star) led them all hours of the days and nights to find him and give him what he would need: the incense of frankincense, incense of myrrh and gold.
That is the Christmas spirit and why we give gifts at Christmas! It's tradition as of midieval times.
Where do you get started...
Ignore: Buddhism, Jehovah's Witnesses, Scientology, Mormon Fundamentalism and Judaism.
Gravitate towards learning in these ways of thinking: Lutheranism, Episcopal, and Baha'i Faith.
There are others but investigate these and put out your spirituality feelers...you may use the library. (Stay away from online sources unless you verify its legit.) I would also like to put a disclaimer out there that the World is 90% evil! They exist as spies and gatekeepers within churches--you never know which ones! If it rubs you the wrong way--it's probably not a good fit! Even pastors, clergy men and nuns can be on the wrong side! (Wolves in sheeps' clothing!)
Okay, so why am I encouraging you to seek knowledge, enlightenment and spiritual growth? Because if you are murdered for your religious beliefs...you are guaranteed to be resurrected!
What symbols can you display have religious meaning?
The cross. You can search online for "types of crosses" and you will see a variety of choices. One that may alarm you is the Cross of St. Peter. It is upside down because when he was an Apostle and set forth to spread the Word of God and the News of Jesus Christ he was crucified upside down. (He got caught, captured and murdered because he was defiant against God's Command which made him unprotected!) We still love him, but he lost his protection.
The infinity symbol. It bares the meaning of Eternal Life with God and Life in Heaven.
Jesus Fish. It symbolizes that Jesus Christ asked his first disciple (a fisherman) to be a Fisher of Men with him. This means to spread the Good News of God's Word and the Coming of Jesus Christ to make believers out of non-believers!
The rose window. A typical architectural element in a church made of stained glass. A rose was given to the Rapture Queen after she was brutally murdered (among other things) by evil people. God took her body from them and replaced it with a single red rose.
*God's Daughter is symbolized in imagery of Jesus Christ with the Sacred Heart.
