Proper I.D.

I came to California with proper identification. But one day I went to the mental hospital and left my identification in the car. Parked in a parking spot where no one should have cared! My car was towed. I have no proper identification. The State of California will not allow me to obtain any new I.D.! I have tried through the Social Security Office to get my social security card replaced--but it never came in the mail and they deleted me from my benefits. I have had two different occasions to obtain an I.D. through the Department of Motorized Vehicles (DMV). Both were turned down. The first was a kiosk at the DMV in Gilroy, CA. The next I filled out a questionaire on the DMV's computers to obtain just a State I.D. Card not a Driver's License--still denied. How do, and how come, illegals and immigrants get proper identification but I cannot?

Without proper I.D. I cannot rent a car, get a motel/hotel room, go to a bar or buy alcohol, get on a train, etc!!!
