Is it the clothes one wears?
Is it one's hairstyle?
Is it one's job?
The answer is "no" to all three of these! A Christian believes in the Trinity--God the Father, Jesus Christ the son and The Holy Spirit!
It doesn't matter if your clothes are washed, whether your pants fit or are holey!
It doesn't matter if you're bald, you have the opposite sex's clothing, or if you have a brightly colored mohawk.
Lastly, it doesn't matter what your job is--even if you are the taxman! Or the prostitute!
You see these things don't necessarily tell people your values of your heart and mind. Only God knows these! Let me explain something to you--prostitutes are controlled by someone else--meaning they are in captivity. They are the victim and not the criminal. The are sex trafficked peoples. They deserve freedom and respect!
P.S. And if you do smoke, alcohol or drugs: this has no weight on how Christian you are...Read my blog on how opioids get people on drugs!
(Search for "Doctor: The New Dealer" and "Opium Wars".)
Injustice!
when a prostito jail--it's the pimp who should go to jail and she should get schooling and protective custody!
when you go to jail at Starbuck's Coffee bacause you closed your eyes too long!
when a man who assaulted two people at the shelter gets off scott-free!
Song selections: "Notorious" by Duran Duran
"I am the Stripclub" by Iggy Azalea
"Work" by Iggy Azalea
"Personal Jesus" by Depeche Mode
Album suggestion: Music for the Masses by Depeche Mode
Movie: "Magic Mike"
P.S. Some of the artists may portray something slightly different than what I relay. It's a window into a world that includes sex industry and maybe some of them feel they hadn't been taken advantage of or controlled. Another form of control is having your wages garnished by someone...
Josiah 2:1
And Joshua the son of Nun sent two men secretly from Shittim as spies, saying, "Go, view the land, especially Jericho." And they went and came into the house of a prostitue whose name was Rahab and lodged there.
HalleluYAH indeed sister. What a wonderful post to share my first comment on. And what a beautiful moment of proof of His Love for all us lost children in this crazy babylonian world. While He came to fulfill the Torah, never to change it, we don't live in the time of the Isrealites living together as one. And as He is our Perfect Lamb, we need not sacrifice any more to get our Father to hear our prayers. His Sun of Righteousness knows us better than we could ever hope to. He knows those who fear His Name, not because they were scared into it, but because they've seen the Glory!
