Heal your wound with vaseline. Put it on your skin wound and cover with bandage--it will heal nicely.

In the industrial age workers were getting cuts and knicks on their hands. They didn't heal very well except for those who put the petroleum jelly on the pipes. The grease from the pipes prtected the wound from the air and let it heal softly with moisture.
