The Storm

Jesus was/is the son of God--impregnating the Virgin Mary by Immaculate Conception. (Joseph was not the father, but yes, the husband and of the line of David.) In Jesus's early years he studied under a carpenter and did work as such. When it was time, he searched for his followers, his disciples. The first of these was Peter--a fisherman. Jesus called on him to be a Fisher of Men.

When Jesus had a number of his disciples together--he asked them to meet him on the other side of the lake. The disciples climbed into Peter's boat and they journeyed. The water got choppy and the wind blew against them. They saw Jesus walking on the water. Jesus told them not to be afraid and commanded Peter to come to him. Peter walked on the water until he realized what he was doing and became afraid. He began to sink. This is one of the many miracles Jesus performed!
