Who has the right to create? You might say everyone--but I beg to differ! Let us see some credentials! Here the real crime goes out to an online mega retailer who doesn't know the difference between high fashion and costume design. Poor fabrics and lack of individuality are abound!
Who do you trust with your wardrobe? If you seriously need someone to tell you what to wear then go see a Nordstrom stylist (they are free!), invest time in a fashion magazine (go to the library and they are free!) and read some fashion blogs. You may even enjoy an Anthropologie haul video from YouTube.com!
Now I know we have gotten lazy in our efforts to dress ourselves! Brick and mortar retailers need to pick up the slack and offer some in store discounts/specials/interests that will pull people in and drive sales to compete with online shopping. In other words, don't depend on your website--do it in person!
Side note: I know there are genres of people out there that love a certain type of style to dress in. Some of you may even be goth and love the Victorian Period to draw from. Or you may have picked up on some Japanese styles of dress like the Harajuku girls or other. There are many styles to dress in and I think this is okay and entertaining if you do it on purpose!
