Talk The Talk...

Okay, here is the low down. Mobsters and the like love to eaves drop. Think about old school land lines and mafia movies placing bugs on phones...just think of how easy it is to listen to a cell phone conversation! I have had cell phone coverage that has overlapped with someone else's before and that was unintentional! So, it's a safe bet your cell service is not secure. And, what ever happened to party line?!

One of the things I used to wonder about as a young one is how telephone (land line) service reached from North America to Europe? Did we have cables under the sea? No, it's unexplainable--and I say its a gift from God! Are telephone wires in general necessary then? To tell you the truth--I don't know! But let this be said--it doesn't cost more for long distance! I lived in Seattle where all of Western Washington had the 206 area code and a population boom hit, and then 425 and 360 were introduced. Soon your neighbor that was once the same area code became long distance--and a hefty charge with that! Uproar.
