Vitamin C or, aka, ascorbic acid is vitally necessary for our body's functions. It helps support healthy collagen so if you have saggy skin--you may want to increase Vitamin C. Like loose skin scurvy is from the lack of Vitamin C.


Scurvy symptoms:

  • rough skin

  • bleeding gums

  • tooth decay

  • loss of integrity of micro vessels

  • bruising

  • weakness

  • fatigue

  • red spots

If lack of Vitamin C continues--it equals a "slow death."

Overcooking your vegetables depletes Vitamins! Make sure you cook vegetables till they are at their brightest and stop the heat! And note that zinc will also help heal a wound. It's in your best interest to eat strawberries! :)
