Plea For A Rental!

Dear Los Gatos,

I have been here for over a year. I have done some searches for local rentals with severe disappointment. I have seen rooms for rent within a home in San Jose for over $1000 a month. It's not feasible on disability income.

Here's my proposal:

Your asking a going rate of $1000 a month for a room. I can realistically pay $250 a month for a space rental. And let me tell you why: experts say you should not spend more than 20% of your income on your home, 30% if it includes all utilities!

Now, what does the homeowner do with a deficity of $750.00? Take it to your accountant! You are supplying housing to someone with limited income on disability. The $750 loss becomes tax deductible!
