My First Airplane Ride!

I had my first airplane ride in college circa 1999. My housemate and I went to New York on college credit cards! (Do I recommend this method?-- No! Save up! Have a savings for a unplanned event and then replenish... credit cards will get you paying twice as much with interest rates and fees!) This was the goal...to see her father's art exhibit at the Smithsonian of Native American Art in New York! It was called "Instruments of Change", they knew we would be coming and we got a welcome when we arrived. His work was/is exquisite! Traditional forms of Pacific Northwest Native American Art but presented in a new way--color. He branched out into new colors and even reassembled some.
