Mistaken Practice

I find it very irritating to be talking with a medical doctor and they tell me what they are prescribing...why is this irritating? Because they are misleading! They tell you they are prescribing the brand name when in fact they are prescribing the generic which goes by a different name! You might think they are the same thing but, no, they are not! The generic can range 20% below the recipe percentages or 20% above the recipe percentages. Formula between the brand name and generic is never the same! So you could be getting less or more of the prescribed medication! I call foul!
And then when you go to the pharmacy--you have no ice what they are talking about because they usually say the generic name!
And then when you go to the pharmacy--you have no ice what they are talking about because they usually say the generic name! And why does the government require the pharmacy to fill the generic if not specified?
