Metaphor

A tall glass of water,

Is what I need right now,

Maybe it's local color,

Or a metaphor somehow!

Someone to look me in the eye,

And say he cares for mine,

No matter what I have been through,

A little compassion is soon.

A hug and a home,

A tug and a room,

Home is where the heart is,

And also where he is.
