What is New Age? In this video it states that Oprah denounces the cross and believes in Christ consciousness and his teachings. I can relate to this in a way! I am uncomfortable seeing Jesus Christ on the cross. I don't mind the cross symbol but my visuals are sensitive to seeing Jesus nailed to the cross.
From growing up; I thought New Age was all about crystals, rocks, pendulums and even a little chanting with the oms. I don't know what else...
The video below is Oprah's view on New Age challenged by a Christian point of view. I personally believe you have to place yourself in a corner with no overlap. We can gain knowledge, insight and spirituality from different forms of thought! I believe most information in the Bible is endless, but I also believe prophets did not seize to exist from Biblical times nor stand in Christianity alone.
