Dear my Seattle,
How I miss your gentle waves,
Of sound's protective place.
Rocks and sands,
Line the coastlines,
Of the sea's magic hands.
Sand dollars and sea swirls,
Litter the open beach.
Seaweed encrusted,
The sandy dune.
Now, hear my voice,
I am calling to you.
Home of my making,
Some of a near day?
Indian summers is what I miss,
A fall day of summer bliss,
Cool in the morning,
With a warmth of full glory;
Now, in the midday,
So one can still outdoor-play!
Give it to me!
