Grocer + Goddess

Could it be that you could feast on the food of gods and kings at Grocer + Goddess? Los Gatos offers this venue: part picnic supporter, part sit-down restaurant. My suggestion is to buy food to go and have a picnic in the park across the way! Now, my critique is that their prices in this area are too high--find a new supplier! If you are on a budget--be prepared; get what you can from home and grocery and supplement with what you can (maybe it's a bottle of wine!) at Grocer + Goddess. If you are not on a budget--it's worth it! Now, I may be a little contradictory here...get me...the caesar salad with chicken was $18.00 and they have an oddly flavored flank steak for $24.00! Can you ask for steak without the combination of maple and rosemary? Salt and pepper is fine, thanks.

I am looking over the prices on the menu and wondering "Is this inflation? Or a result of an over priced supplier?) Or, am I just that old? I remember hearing the statement candy bars used to be 30 cents!

I think they have something going here--I think it will see evolution. They will find out what their top sellers are and improve upon that!

What I want: is a good meal (found here), wine, and some rainbow cake! If you have never tried creamed corn--do it! Impossible Meatloaf is where it's at! I wish I could buy things a la cart! I wish there were more things in the cold case ready-to-go for a picnic (and a-hem, prices!) Who in the world heard of a kids $10.00 hot dog? $5.00, please.

There is outdoor seating...come enjoy a coffee with liquor and use their WiFi.
