Free will is what God gave to Adam and Eve. It allowed each of them to choose their own destiny! In the Garden of Eden, Eve was tempted by the snake, who had her eat the forbidden fruit. This lapse in judgment allowed evil on Earth.

2 Corinthians 11:3

But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.
