False Prophets

To my knowledge, Theology Courses take approximately eight years. A normal Pastor situation would have this course work done before being called to a church. Then there are some that start their own churches? Without schooling? Some may be God's Prophet but others may have evil inspiration and motives. These negative/evil ones are called False Prophets. They may lead you in the wrong direction, they may turn you off to religion, they may tell you untruths for fun and/or they may be after your bank account or even after control over you!

I witnessed heresy last Sunday. Stories in a "sermon" not from the Bible! Did it relate? I didn't think so...People nodding along in blank naiive conformity--or was it something sinister?

It was a mega church. What this tells me is they are after your money. Have you heard of "venture capitalists"?
