Japan's auto industry starts back to World War I with military trucks and evolved into buses as well in World War II. Their industry took off in the 1960's and 70's. Nissan and Toyota were the first household names. Today, there is: Datsun, Honda (high interest for car thieves), Mazda, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Suzuki (uninsurable), Isuzu (uninsurable), Daihatsu, Mitsuoka, Lexus, Acura and Infiniti.
Are they still military-minded? Let me tell you this... I drove a 2012 Subaru Impreza that had a booby trapped hood and trunk! They would come unhinged while driving! I now drive an older vehicle!
We all know WWII was started by Japan attacking Hawaii's Pearl Harbor wit Kamakazi pilots. And Japan does not believe in God, so why do we support trade with an evil country? My care was booby trapped. You can bet there are hidden cameras and microphones as well! We were at war wit Japan and it lingers...
On another note! Can you depend on American-made? Well, that all depends and I hope so! Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM, Lincoln, and Tesla are all American-made! Go shopping!
My hope is they use American manufactured parts and are not dependent on China or Japan! Bring manufacturing back to the United States, support your neighbor and invest in your country! In God We Trust!
