Domestic Violence

Where do you go when you're in trouble at home? Answer truthfully if you are asked if you feel safe at home.

What is domestic violence?

• a partner tries to control another and sometimes leads to physical abuse

• monetary abuse--they confiscate your earnings

• psychological abuse

• emotional abuse

There may be no physical harm present yet domestic violence can still be occurring through the other abuses! Help is out there--ask a doctor. And the victim isn't always female!
