Cocktail Hour.

I grew up in a family that aren't social drinkers--where did I come from?!

I then experienced cocktail hour every day at four o'clock. The peanuts would roll out, discussion of what's on the table for dinner and the day's achievements...and possibly the next vacation were discussed. Wine, beer and cards rolled out as well.

Whether at home, cabin or vacation; cocktail hour was always observed! Pinochle was the choice game and I learned my way...
