Capitola, California

If you are looking for some rest and relaxation--try Capitola! It's cute, it's quaint and it's own entity within the Santa Cruz community. It has brightly colored beachfront (semi) dwellings that will enchant you...if only there was a provisions store located within!

In addition, there are vintage blue life guard look-outs, serene waters on the right, a pier that needs repair since the flood, sunbathing in the middle and surfers on the left. On a good day you may even find live music nearby or even near the beach. And a little hint from me, I think the little pool of water nestled back by Zelda's would be perfect for remote control boats--definitely not swimming!
