Broken

What is wrong? My body is broken but my soul pushes on. An old injury in my right leg has a broken ligament. From lifting and pulling on a heavy backpack my left shoulder feels like my arm is going to fall out of the socket (plus wear and tear from fastpitch play in my younger days!). My skin looks like a war zone. My feet have multiple problems: a broken arch, a twisted ankle and broken skin from scurvy.

Western Medicine won't assist me. I go there. I wait in the waiting room. They ask me the problem. Hand me paperwork without even going into an examination room. They say they administered medicine without it even happening! And no, I am not a hypochondriac!

And, I need a dermatologist--I suspect skin cancer.

Being homeless is no piece of cake. Everybody turns their back on you. What makes one less than human for not having a physical address? Animals by law are protected in getting three walls and a roof from their owners--the government is supposed to take care its citizens by The Constitution but no law in comparison exists for humans! The government has programs for the homeless but unfortunately it is one that is not regulated and is a target for embezzlement! No one is watching our back.

And, I have carpal tunnel from pulling a suitcase! I cannot remember things. I made plans this morning but I can only remember the time and not the occasion or goal of the meeting...cyanide poisoning from "homeless" products has taken its toll.

Get this...in addition, there is not vision or dental coverage for the disabled peoples. My teeth need immediate medical attention and I have been at a loss on where to go. I just learned Medi-Cal has been pending since March 2024. I need new spectacles and yet this too is neglected for disabled people's insurance.
