Art School To Artist?

There are tons of people that major in art, but do they make it? And, why not?
Artists get disillusioned from the get-go about being a visual artist who earns an income--you're boycotted from the very beginning! You emerge yet when you approach a gallery you get told you're not experienced enough?! What your artist resume says about you is your experience as an artist...publications, exhibitions, education...etc. So, where do you start? Where do you get experience. Doesn't it matter you are a genius?
Maybe that's just it. Middlemen (art galleries) don't know who you are (too shay!). They need a populated art resume to tell them how good you are because in fact their art eye is not at all but a sham! They don't know who the art genius is! (If you are lucky.) What am I telling you? Don't trust the middleman! Instead, ask what is their resume? Track record and, hey, it wouldn't hurt doing a background check!
(And, I would like to point out...if you are Catholic--your priest is the middleman and not necessary for you have a conversation with God!)
